Pool Table Cover Information PDF Print E-mail

If you are looking for a pool table cover, there are wide varieties of colors, types, and sizes to choose from.  From a very basic vinyl pool table cover to high-end leather fitted ones that are custom made and maybe even personalized, there are a lot of options.  No matter what your budget or taste, there is surely a pool table cover that will suit you somewhere on the market.

The first type is vinyl.  From a very basic vinyl that is not fitted and is just thrown over the top to a fitted one that cradles the pockets, vinyl is usually at the low-end of the pool table cover world.  But a good thick cover with weighted edges that allow it to hug the table better is actually a good investment.  If you spent a lot of money on the pool table itself, a vinyl pool table cover may be your best bet.  Starting for as little as six dollars, they will do the trick; though long term, you may want to invest in a better one.

Leather or fake leather (pleather, leatherette, etc) is similar to vinyl, only much thicker and therefore less prone to holes and other things that may let dust in.  They are similar, because they are often weighted and can be bought just to throw over or custom made to fit your table's dimensions.

The last common type is a hard-shell cover that is customized and sometimes monogrammed.  These are made in pieces so they are easy to remove and are intended for long-term storage or just for show.  They are quite beautiful and worthy of display, and as far as a pool table cover goes, this is as good as it gets.
